Amadea's Journey

I recently finished writing my first novel. Still editing and shopping around for a literary agent. So excited though! I enjoyed watching the movie of my book, Amadea's Journey, play in my head as I wrote the story. Amadea and her best friend Cara both have my personality quirks and some of their situations are personal to me, but I wrote it so that others could identify with the characters as well. The characters all have a relationship with the Lord, but on different levels. Three friends adventure out into the world to learn life's lessons in love, faith, hope, tragedies, and death.

Blessings

This time of year reminds us all of the many things we should be thankful for but may take for granted. God has blessed me with three wonderful children. They drive me crazy but I love them so much. Thank goodness they are so darn cute so I can laugh at the really ornery things they do. A couple days ago my middle child, age 6, decides he wants to be a hero. So he hides my oldest child's curriculum book. Then when we are searching for it everywhere and my oldest son is in near tears, my middle child finds the curriculum book and saves the day. When we asked him how the book got in the toy box he explained. We couldn't punish him cuz it was so stinkin adorable.
